HOW ITS
MADE
Our organic certified virgin
coconut oil is made from fresh coconuts
opened less than 48
hours after they are picked from the trees. They
first shell the
coconuts and then grate the flesh, placing it in a milk
extractor. By use of a large centrifuge, the pure oil is separated and a
“skim” coconut milk. This method of extraction requires no added heat
at all. It works like a cream separator that is used for
separating
cream from cow’s milk. The pure oil obtained is absolutely
fabulous!
WHY IT
WORKS
Coconut Oil contains up to 50%
Lauric Acid, which is an important
nutrient also found in
mother's milk. Lauric Acid is known to boost the
immune system,
and may be suitable for all ages.
Suggested
use
Start with 1-2 tablespoons during
mealtime for a few days, and increase
intake to 2-3 tablespoons during
mealtime. Alternatively, you can use
virgin coconut oil as
ingredient to your favorite coconut-based dishes as
an alternative to
coconut milk.
WHAT TO DO WHEN OIL
SOLIDIFIES
Pure coconut starts solidify at 25
degrees Celsius and below.
Place container in warm water until the oil turns
into a liquid.
